We would challenge anyone to match the level of detail and standard of workmanship gone into this kit, couple this with the very best parts and you have a kit hard to match.
We have focused hard on the small bump compliance and managed to get the initial movement of the shock to move with the small bumps whilst beefing up big bump compliance, nothing bothers this shock we have thrown everything at it and yet it still holds the line and supports the rider. We notice big confidence gains from the riders, they immediately started to push harder.
I was invited to Gale Common Motopark by Garry owner of N-gage racing to test 3 sets of suspension that Ngage had developed for my bike.
The track was in really good condition with good ruts and a lot of breaking bumps, grip was really good to, perfect for testing the suspension.
At first, I tested the softer setup and I thought that it was great. The forks settled into the ruts nicely and the rear helped me over the bumps into the corners.
After that, I tested the stiffer setup and my opinion on it was that the forks weren’t as good but they were still better than stock. The rear shock was better than stock and the softer set up because it didn’t bounce as much as the other shock did.(it was much more stable) The softer shock was still fun to ride with but in my opinion, the harder set up gave me more confidence.
After testing the 3 set ups I decided the softer forks and the stiffer shock was better for me than the others.
Since then I have been winning a lot of my races and at the moment I am in the lead of the two championships (north-east mx and falcon mx).
The suspension has helped me a lot with the tracks I have been to so Garry has done an amazing job of building these two setups.
We have managed to craft you valve stacks which are plush and compliant whilst not blowing through the stroke when things get tough out there, the bike will hold its lines in the corners wether bumpy ,rutty or flat.
Adding on to SKF’s well established fork seals range consists of two newly developed rubber compounds and new geometries for both the scraper lip and the sealing lip. The co-moulded combination of compounds, together with improved sealing lip properties, offers enhanced follow ability on the shaft. In addition, there is a new metal insert and an open wound spring on the dirt scraper lip, effectively preventing the ingress of contaminants. Benefits of the dual compound fork seals are
